How can I get people to donate Treadmills to my research project?

Can you answer osweetnothin’s question about Treadmill?:

I am working with a research group, and for one of our projects we need to get 12 treadmills. We don’t have a big budget, and need these treadmills to be donated. I have tried Craig’s List and we are going to go around and ask businesses for donations. Any other ideas? This has proven to be a pretty difficult task, and any ideas will help.

Treadmill Feedback: Try getting a local newspaper to run a story about the research project and the need for treadmills.
