Which is better, the elliptical or treadmill, when it comes to getting in shape for running?

Selecting between the two all depends on what
you are looking for. If you are prone to
ankle and foot injuries and do not enjoy high
impact aerobics, it is recommended that you
go with an elliptical. With Elliptical
trainers you get a great workout for both
your arms and legs, the treadmill will only
work your legs. So, this is something to
consider, as well. Personally, I prefer the
elliptical as I feel you get a better overall
workout.
